Growth Marketing Manager — Divya Darshan 360
Own growth end to end for Divya Darshan 360 — a devotional app bringing immersive 360° temple darshan to people who cannot visit temples: the Indian diaspora, aged parents, and devotees limited by health or finances. 56 temples and 150+ darshan videos are live, with an Android app in four languages, a ₹1,500 VR box, and a funded plan to reach 100 temples in the next year. You would be our first and only marketing hire, reporting directly to the Founder.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and scale performance marketing (Google App Campaigns, Meta) against a hard CPI target with retention-quality guardrails, across Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati audiences.
- Own the Play Store listing: ASO, per-language screenshots and keywords, and ratings strategy (Android only; there is no iOS app).
- Build and run our organic engines: WhatsApp Channel, YouTube (darshan cuts and Shorts), Instagram and Facebook.
- Plan and execute festival-calendar campaigns (Sawan, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Diwali) across push, social and paid.
- Own the VR box funnel: web landing conversion, in-app upsell journeys, gift positioning for NRI and urban buyers, and checkout trust for 45+ customers.
- Launch the creator program (regional devotional micro-influencers) and community initiatives (senior-citizen groups, housing-society satsangs, temple partnerships).
- Report weekly on the full funnel from real data (Firestore / GA4 / BigQuery): install → activation → D7/D30 retention → box purchase → subscription.
- Brief and iterate ad creative from our 360° footage; write copy in Hindi and English (Marathi or Gujarati a strong plus).
Role Details
Qualifications & Skills
- 3–6 years in growth/performance marketing for a consumer app in India, with hands-on Google App Campaigns and Meta Ads ownership (you ran the account, not an agency).
- Proven record of hitting CPI/CAC targets while holding retention quality; you can explain a cohort curve and argue with an attribution report.
- Comfort with analytics tooling: GA4, Firebase, basic SQL or willingness to learn (our source of truth is Firestore/BigQuery, not dashboard MAU).
- Strong Hindi + English copywriting; cultural fluency with devotional and festival contexts.
- Scrappy operator mindset: small budgets, no agency — you ship the campaign yourself.
- Strong plus: Marathi or Gujarati fluency; devotional, astrology or bhakti-tech category experience.
- Strong plus: D2C physical-product funnel experience, regional-language ASO, creator program management, or marketing to 45+ / NRI audiences.
What We Offer
- Own the entire growth function of a funded, live product with real traction and a clear board-backed budget.
- A category with deep emotional resonance and under-served regional audiences.
- Direct line to the founder — your dashboard is the board's dashboard.
- Ground-floor equity in a market where the closest competitor raised $2M and validates the space.
- Clear success milestones: measurement stack and first festival campaign in 90 days, blended CPI at target and first 100 attributable VR box orders by 6 months, 20%+ non-paid installs by 12 months.
To Apply: Email tech@youtellme.ai with your CV and one paragraph on a campaign you ran, what it cost, and what it retained.
